What is a Mylar bag and why use them?
Mylar bags are made from several layers of aluminiumand are a great if you want to pack a few prepared hides for use on the road - especially if you're going away for a few days - without the need to take your whole kit with you!
 
Not only do they keep the odour in, they keep it fresher for longer and your dog shouldn't get of a wiff of it in the car, if properly sealed.
 
Mylar bags provide great light, moisture, and oxygen barrier to protect the odour inside the bag = keeping it fresher, longer. These bags beat regular snap-lock bags for transport and short-term storage of prepared hides, hands down.
 
TIP:
I've labelled mine - by odour - using a liquid chalk pen or permanent marker. I then reuse the same bags for the same odour. Alt, you could pop a sticker on the outside so you can make note of which odour it contains.
